Health incorporates all the aspects of good health: Diet, exercise and mental outlook.
Diet: We've all heard how important diet is to being, feeling and looking our best. Fast food has its place, but a life of fast food equates to a fast track to diabetes, obesity, health problems and an early grave as our system gets clogged with crap it can't process.

Tommy's Morning Protein Shake Recipe:
Mix the following ingredients in your blender.
2 cups of Herbalife Aloe Vera juice (Aloe Vera is known world-wide for its healing powers.)
2 scoops of Herbalife protein powder
2 scoops of Herbalife shake mix (flavor of your choice)
1 banana (Bananas provide a good source of potassium)
1 cup of yogurt: Your choice of flavor. (Yogurt provides live and active cultures for good digestive health.)
1 cup of frozen mixed fruit. (I prefer a tropical blend.)
1 cup of frozen blueberries. (Blueberries are a great source of anti-oxidants.)
Blend the powders with Aloe juice, then add ingredients and blend one at a time.
Makes about 3 cups of shake, enough to share or for the next three days.
Exercise
Exercise is a subjective term as healthy physical activity is determined by the body performing the tasks.
As a former PE instructor, I am well aware of the benefits of physical activity and exercise.
Below is my recipe for a good daily workout that will put you back on the right track to good physical health. If you are not eating properly (see above), then exercise will probably not benefit you as the two do go hand in hand.
1. Stretch: This is the one thing that will make or break a good workout. It is important to stretch so as not to accidentally pull a muscle. Stretching is also beneficial to good blood flow and can help relieve cramping, as can drinking plenty of water. Add a packet of Herbalife's H3O to get the full benefits of hydration.
2. Walk or Run: Next is to get the heart pumping. Take the time in the morning or late afternoon to go for a walk or run that gets your heart pumping for about 20 minutes. Be sure you stretch before and after your run and hydrate! A good cardiovascular workout is essential to good, prolonged health.
3. Floor Exercises/Weights: Take a hard look at your body in a mirror. What do you see that could use some improvement, toning, firming, losing or building? Plan this portion of your exercise program to meet the goals you set for yourself. Sit-ups are good for toning the stomach, though a ball works better. Also, if you want to see the tummy disappear, cut down on the bad carbs, fast food and soda. The body still needs carbs as it does fuel the body, but too many will be stored as fat. The trick is to burn more carbs than you take in. Any physical fitness instructor can help determine your caloric intake based on your diet, and what you are burning based on your physical activity. Push-ups help with pectoral, trapazoid and tricep development. Start slow with what you can do, then build your sets and repetitions as you go. Remember, exercise does not have to be hard, just productive. Start with simple lite weights of 2 - 5 pounds. You can find quality exercise programs for free on YouTube or on TV. The key words here are dedication and persistence. Keep with it and you will see results.

Mental Health
You may feel great physically, exercising and eating well have definitely paid off, but if you haven't taken care of yourself mentally and emotionally, then your overall health will still suffer. This is were you will need to take stock of your mental and emotional attitude and determine what is holding you back in these areas. Are there old issues that need to be resolved? Perhaps current ones with family, friends or work.
Maybe the stress of daily life, bills, the uncertainty of tomorrow, foreclosure and more. We live in uncertain times and they can be draining on the human condition, especially mentally and emotionally.
Of course, there are more serious issues that some are contending with, such as mental disorders, and addictions where treatment plans and pharmaceuticals are the game plan. Perhaps you just need a game plan to help you through the rough patches, a way to cope and contend with life and those in it. This is the time to see a good counselor. These professionals are trained to listen, ask the right questions and encourage you to do the work you need to do to become as healthy in this area as you are physically.
With these three aspects of your life now working for you, you have accomplished the Health portion of the H-E-L-P program.
